An executive board, elected to two-year terms through biennial Society-wide elections, supervises the affairs of the Society. The board consists of six (6) officers and ten (10) directors.
The officers are the president, president-elect, recording secretary, corresponding secretary, Society treasurer and Foundation treasurer.
The directors are six regional vice presidents, three members-at-large and the immediate past president.
Each of the regional vice presidents represents one of six (6) geographical regions of the United States - Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, North Central, South Central, Western - and must reside in the region he/she presides over; members-at-large may reside in any area of the United States.
