which is currently 10.16%
RESERVATIONS: All reservations
not made using the Convention registration form should be
accompanied by a personal check made payable to the Hilton
Waikoloa Village or credit card information for the minimum one
(1) night's deposit required. All requests for reservations
received after August 20, 1998 will be subject to
availability.
CANCELLATION: Seventy-two (72)
hours up to arrival date. Cancellations and no-shows received
within this time period will be assessed a one (1) night's
penalty, plus Hawaii State Tax Payment will be made for these
cancellations by retention of initial deposit to the
hotel.
EARLY DEPARTURES: The Hilton
Waikoloa Village will retain all room and tax payments for the
balance of the stay, should any individual check out earlier than
the confirmed dates. In the event of an unforseen personal
emergency, the Hilton Waikoloa Village will review these on an
individual basis.
THIRD PERSON CHARGE: There is no
charge for children eighteen (18) year of age and under sharing
the same room as the parents and using existing bedding. But there
will be a charge of $30.00 for any additional adult nineteen (19)
years of age or older in a room. The maximum number of persons in
a room is three (3) adults, or two (2) adults and two (2)
children.
BAGGAGE HANDLING: There will be
a baggage handling charge of $2.00 per person plus 4.16% sales tax
upon check out (total $4.00 plus 4.16% sales tax) This charge
covers baggage handling and the directional and informational
services of the concierge staff located in each of the three guest
towers.
